Imus asks Russert, what does 10 mean?
ChanX CliffsNotes
According to Russert:
Hilllary stays alive, she lives for another day.
Needed time and money, she bought the time.
HRC has the opportunity to approach delegates with;
-
Have I created doubts in your mind about Obama?
-
What about Obama’s ability to win a general election?
-
Will he be able to put together a winning electoral map?
Her plea to the Super Delegates? Wait 2 weeks and see what she can do in North Carolina and Indiana.
HRC Funding? All you people out there who like a fighter go to HillaryClinton.Com and send her your money! She has raised $3M. Tim’s guess she will raise $6M or $7M. Will be more then enough to fund the next two states.
The key? Hillary has to wait for another Rev Wright situation, another bitter clinging to religion and guns moment. She has to put together a couple of primary wins.
Imus and Russert Resolved:
This just prolongs it, Obama will get the nomination.
Russert also revealed pre-release copies of the Imus Ranch Record exist! Tim has been listening to the tracks while on the exercise bike. (Imus challenged the notion of Tim exercising.) Russert’s favorite artists? Delbert and Willie.
Imus in the Morning with Tim Russert re; Pennsylvania Primary, delegates/popular vote, super delegates, upcoming primaries, democratic convention, McCain campaign. 4/23/08

no comment –
Hey, put the HRC website in there just for you stdom.
ChannelXRFR,
I predict there is a “situation” in the can already, the Clinton folks are not newbies, I think it was either here or on Imus Truth, I stated they were keeping their powder dry for Indiana or North Carolina. Duck Obama.
ChannelX,
Do you remember what Matt Taibbi commented on when he was covering the Nevada primarys, he said, he thought when he was watching Obama he saw some straw..
Oh scarecrow, I’m going to miss you most of all

This is getting really interesting. Actually watched the results right through the speeches. Great theater. Wonder what makes Obama so confident he can get away with misstating and misrepresenting McCain? I’m sure HRC would like to see the MAC Attack go after this hard. Timing is probably not right for McCain though.
Have a feeling that McCain would rather take on Obama in the November Cage.
ChannelXRFR,
Could Obama gin up the conservative base to get out and vote for McCain? Chickaboomer was stating, that Silky Pony is waiting till N.C. to endorse Obama he wants the Attorney General Position. That will get the breck girl vote
Liked the Chick’s Pic of the Silky Pony. Seems like Edward’s would be a real stretch for AG. Just my opinion, he was more personal injury, civil lawyer then crime stopper or constitutional expert. I could be wrong, since he is obviously a talented litigator.
Word in NC is that the AG position has been discussed
FYI – Arbitron book covering Jan/Feb/Mar is due out 4/28. Will finally get some data around how Imus is doing with WABC!
Does anyone know how many stations are syndicating Imus now?
Here is a right wing Loon. But Ann Coulter in some ways does make sense. If Hillary didn’t have Bill as an anchor she would be better off.
The key problem for Hillary’s campaign is that normal people reel back in horror at her association with the Clinton administration. (Which is why, as her supporter, I refer to her as simply “Hillary.”)
If Hillary could run exclusively on her record since becoming a senator from New York, she’d be a relatively moderate Democrat who hates the loony left — as we found out this week when a tape of Hillary denouncing Moveon.org surfaced. Think Joe Biden in a pantsuit.
But because of her unfortunate marriage, Hillary comes with a cast of undesirables like James Carville, Paul Begala, Terry McAuliffe, Joe Conason — and of course Bill Clinton, along with his trusted impeachment manager Larry Flynt. Buy one, get the entire dirt-bag collection free!
No one wants those people back.
Even semi-respectable Democrats look sleazy by their association with the Clintons. No serious Democrat defended Clinton over his “presidential kneepads” incident with Monica Lewinsky. OK, that’s not including adult film star Ron Jeremy, if you consider him a serious Democrat. Which I do.
That’s why cable TV producers had to call in the O.J. defenders to flack for Clinton during his impeachment. Any Democrats still clinging to Hillary at this point appear to be soulless climbers desperate for jobs in the next administration.
So repellent are Bill Clinton’s friends (to the extent that a sociopathic sex offender with a narcissistic disorder can actually experience friendship in the conventional sense) that B. Hussein Obama’s association with a raving racist reverend and a former member of the Weather Underground hasn’t caused as much damage as it should.
It means that a bunch of Republicans in Pennsylvania with nobody to vote for decided to humor Rush Limbaugh by changing their party and voting for Hellary. I bet that if no Republicans were allowed to change their party before the election, that Obama would have won by a good five points. If I were the governor of Pennsylvania, I would push hard to pass a law in Pennsylvania saying that you can only change your party one time in the entire year of 2008, so that those “operation chaos” republicans will be stuck voting for the Democrats in November. That will serve them right for causing all of this trouble.
ov — They are not “stuck” voting for dems in Nov. It doesn’t matter what your registered as, you can vote either dem or rep! Please, thats sooo basic. The one thing it does is screw with the numbers which is even better!! BTW, operation chaos is a GREAT idea. Bloody up the Dems, thats what I say!
Well that what Clinton and Obama are doing Goiman. They are destroying all chances of winning in November by killing the Democratic Party.
In my opinion it is good for McCain. And I don’t care what his age is. He has more experience then both of them put together plus some.
It is over for Clinton. She just doesn’t see it.
Lately I’ve had to turn off the show, like this morning, when the I-man starts his “Rev. Wright’s generation” rants. So disturbing that he would pick-up for this man.
Frec, it doesn’t look like a hatch will happen at Fifth Ave. this year again. Who knows why? So sad.
NOBAMA ‘08
I agree lindainbluebell, I too can’t stand his rants on Wright. I’m also getting tired of the “race issue in this country”. Give us a break, please!
Maybe it would be a good thing for the Democratic Party to break into two parties. We need three parties anyway.
They are saying that North Carolina is in the bag for Obama but I have this feeling it may just go for Clinton. We’ll see.
Bella,
Are you getting ready to join me in my Independent streak
Carl Jeffers was a breath of fresh air today talk about telling it like it is I couldn’t find anything I disagreed with him about.
The Rev Jeremiah Wright thing is not going to go away….look did NHH go away? NO although it isn’t fresh. I don’t know if they can keep the Rev J Wright rant fresh for the whole summer till November chances are they have gotten most the milage out of the rant as they could.
I guessed
Chief Joseph
Sitting Bull
Geronimo
and Crazy Horse
I was going to go with Red Cloud but I couldn’t make out the 4th figure. I know Red Cloud has a bigger nose then Crazy Horse. I should have gone with my first thought. I guessed Crazy Horse because Mt Rushmore is in the background and there has been a Crazy Horse monument underway for sometime now…Oh Well, I don’t mind paying for the CD it goes to charity.
Not so fast there chief!

The Sioux are always stirring the pot, Sitting Bull, Red Cloud and Crazy Horse all Siouan Indians.
Chief Joseph- Nez Pierce there is a wonderful book titled “Nez Pierce Children of Grace” it is about the Nez Pierce wars.
Geronimo -Apache, who apparently has his head stuck at Yale University with the old boys club, Skull and Bones.

Oklahoma City is also where the National Cowboy Museum is located. I have been there a couple of times, they have that giant staute of the Cherokee Indian on horseback head bowed “End of the Trail” representing the Cherokee Removal in 1838 to Indian country “The Trail of Tears”

LindainBB:
Too sad about the baby hawks…Marie Winn posted some thoughtful reflections on her site…
Threading Begala and Carl Jeffers together from this morning.
Obama needs tighter tougher answers to questions regarding Wright and Ayres. Imus is willing to brush off these relationships. However, each played a significant role to Obama’s early political successes. These relationships positioned Obama with both the black and liberal constituencies which have been essential to his success.
Jeffers wants to take it beyond it’s about race. How about the fear that Obama has not been fully forthcoming regarding the Wright and Ayres relationship. He has slowly admited to certain aspects under duress. Fundamentally people are begining to distrust Obama. Carl, the fear people have in the booth is that somehow / someway Obama is involved in a “secret society”.
Jon Stewart on the Daily show joked with Obama about a hidden agenda. Obama missed an opportunity to assuage people’s fears and responded with a denial and dull witted response.
Going back to Begala, Obama needs tighter, tougher answers to these questions to get voters past their fears.
There’s a nice article about Imus in Forbes. It’s written by James Brady, who’s been on the show. It’s here:
