Ingraham Covers The Gamut
Laura Ingraham appears on Imus. They discuss her radio show, Dennis Miller Highlights, Hilary Campaign, the media, Hilary as a possible VEEP, the race factor in this election and more. Good interview, Laura provides excellent perspective, is insightful and a fun guest. Also, a link to “Miller Time!”
ChanX CliffsNotes
Luara Ingraham, Talkers Magazine Woman of the Year
What’s up with the radio gig? Laura Ingraham currently not doing her radio show due to contractual issues, which she cannot discuss due to contract concerns. She did not walk off the show, her health is fine, not family related and can’t wait to get back on the air. Of course Imus loves fighting with radio station people. Loves to make their lives miserable, guys like Steve Borneman and Mitch Dolan to name two.
Laura does the O’Reilly Factor and gushes about Dennis Miller retrospective. Imus claims almost everything Miller says on O’Reilly is a scream. According to Laura, Miller has a very large fan base and is O’Reilly’s highest rated guest. After watching “Miller Time!” Laura was laughing so hard she was almost unable to come back on the air, without bursting out laughing.
Hilary Campaign is the same thing we’ve seen since 1998 with the Clintons, they live in a parallel universe. The Democrats have found someone more left wing, more attractive, younger then the Clintons. Now it’s the Clintons who are all about raw power? Oh come on people, that’s why you loved ‘em. This is what it has always been about.
Mrs. Bush had it right, Hillary has grit and determination. Anyone who thinks it’s easy to be out there day after day, night after night, try it for 30 days and see how easy it is. As a campaigner Hillary put it all on the line every day. A lot of other people would have quit, a lot of other people would have gotten out. She almost won this thing. Took every major large state; California, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, the list just kept growing by the end of this campaign.
People were telling her she had to get out. Can you imagine if someone were telling Barrack Obama to get out? If the facts were switched? Can you imagine the caterwauling from the left? People would have been saying; you’re racially insensitive, this is a historic campaign, how dare you tell him to get out, he deserves his chance in the lime light as well, blah, blah, blah. Instead Hillary gets that everyday, that’s outrageous!
The media? Clintons have learned what the conservatives have been saying about the old media for decades. The media is more liberal then conservative. So even if they support the Clintons or liked the Clintons when Barrack Obama came along the Clintons are tossed under the train wheels real quickly. Hillary and Bill now see that and understand what the press is about. Laura finds this rich in its irony!
Hilary, possible veep? If he picks her he looks incredibly weak, a guy who can’t stand on his own.
Regarding the race factor in this election. What becomes of the race dialog in this country if Barrack Obama becomes President of the United States (which he might). Will we finally say we made or progress or will keep saying we haven’t made any progress?
Imus: There are millions of people who want you back on the radio. If there is anything I can do to help you. I’ve got the best lawyers on the planet! Two words “Martin Garbus”

Here’s the thing, Laura a conservative talker who agrees with little to nothing with Hillary on issues. Laura goes out of her way to compliment Hillary on her campaign and even when critical of Clintons she is still sending them kudos!
It all goes to prove you can disagree with someone without being disagreeable.
I’m not big on the conservative talk show types like Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. Always thought Ingraham was a bit different though. For one thing I think she is smarter than either of them. Plus Imus likes her so that’s really all I need to know. Ha!
Chris Matthew’s leg at it again
http://hotair.com/archives/2008/06/10/video-matthews-compares-mccain-to-the-titanic/
Was at a conference a couple of weeks ago. Chris Matthews was one of the speakers. He sounded so rationale discussing the election, makes you wonder where these outbursts come from. He must be a blurter, tourettes maybe?
ChannelXRFR
Does he have diabetes? I thought I remember Imus speaking about Chris Matthews health back when they were all on MSNBC. I wonder if this is a blood sugar thing?
That’s a good point, once had a guy in my group who before we went into a meeting I would ask him “if he ate recently”. Got to be a standing joke between us, frankly it saved his job.
ChannelXRFR
Chris Matthews has a heavy work load and I think he is in real tuff competition with people like Olberman who are more showman then Matthews. The theatrics might be his way to keep Olberman from completely stealing the spotlight although with another boycott underway this summer by women that spotlight keeps getting smaller. That is coming from the leadership they set the standards if they have any. MSNBC looks like every man for himself has set in.
I put up the trailer to Adam Sandlers new movie, Don’t mess with the Zohan on I Man myspace page and the Zohan is in top friends section if anyone wants to see more trailers it was funny and rated pg13 but it isn’t for little kids and I am not a prude some of the comedy is really adult.

Interesting — the thunder boomers kept me up so I actually watched a full hour of this Greta Van Whatever her name is.
Always kind of dismissed her as just another talking head attention grabbing ditz. She’s pretty good or at least was for this hour.
She lets people talk and make their point and doesn’t run all over them like most others. Pretty smart.
Anybody else have an opinion. Just curious?
SkiWolf,
Greta Van Susteren was a Hillary supporter from the beginning. I use to watch her when the OJ Trial was going on about 13 years ago.
Since she had a face lift and became even more liberal. Not a bad thing. But just as bad as she was being in the HRC corner (My Opinion) she is a fair interviewer. Fair meaning she allows opposite points of view without interrupting.
Since then I do not watch her any longer.
Morning Joe they don’t watch their own feed or have a look at what they produce do they ? Not that I blame them I don’t watch Morning Joe either.
What is wrong with the discription “terrorist fist jab” If E.D. Hill is watching lots of feed, the news folks probably have a short hand they use for behavior they witness, when watching how much video? I mean this probably has something to do with E.D. Hill using her internal voice she uses for off air vs on air. Kind of like David Shuster and his Pimping Chelsea Clinton soundbyte…he was using his off air verbage it crept into his on air segment, I don’t for a minute think David Shuster really wanted to cause a furor he was probably casting about for a discription and used his civilian lingo. E.D. Hill probably did something similar. The comment when she added “terrorist fist jab” is the criticism that she is by extention calling the Obamas terrorist, for using this discription of this mannerism? I guess I need to have a look at E.D. Hill actually making the comment.
Fox and Friends is “Vanilla”
E.D. Hill called that bump that Michelle and Barack made before he gave his speech a ‘terrorist fist jab” that is way too out there for goodness sakes, my child and I do stuff like that all the time in fact I get this little tune from time to time “talk to the booty, the hands off duty” E.D. Hill doesn’t get out much does she? This was dumb if this is her judgement maybe she was in over her head. I can’t believe people spent this much time with Michelle and Obama basically having a public moment congratulating her husband on winning the democrat nomination. Slow news cycle? Oh yeah this has everything to do with the price of gas the flat dollar and national security.

Andrea Mitchell, Peddling Obama as fast as she can. ChannelXRFR mentioned Matthews and Tourettes in this thread. I wonder how one would address this condition “Silence is Golden & Duct Tape is Sliver”

Of Course Chuck Berry is for Obama, thats called Identity Politics folks, you vote for the person who best matches your ethnicity and or gender. Why is this news, oh I would have picked Johnny be Good for McCain campaign myself that is a no brainer.

Now this is American I keep pointing out we already have a culture to celebrate.
I was once the person who said the Imus program is fine in it’s new present form. Let’s just say I am becoming more irritated. Not so with Imus as much as I am with our little friend Karith Foster.
Yes you will all say I am a flip flopper etc. But since Imus is in New Mexico she has to dip her beak into everything Imus says or does. As if when the cat’s away the mice will play. But Imus does give her a slam more often now than he ever has.
Her writing skills and delivery is so bad it is worth listening to just to hear the fumbles and the subjects that really are not funny.
Tony Powell is entirely different. He is a fine comedian. Does a good job of delivering his comic skits and attacks Karith as much as Bernie and Imus does. Of course everyone laughs so as to not sound too serious.
On the political front. Obama is not going to win. But even with McCain winning we are not out of the hot water yet.
I ask the disgruntled Hillary supporters to please don’t waste your vote on writing in Hillary. Vote for McCain instead. Obama is not the messiah everyone talks about. The more information I learn the more I know he is intelligent but just not ready. And his wife. OMG! She is so far left it’s incredible.
So with due respect to Taryn or anyone who wishes to Vote for Obama, we are not going to get this economy back with him at the helm. And McCain is in my opinion a person who needs the chance to prove his worth. That’s even up in the air.
Enough ranting about everything. But just wanted you to know I am not an in the bag Imus lover or Hillary hater. Just opinionated.
I did post this over at Imus Truth. So if anyone doubts that just wanted to make sure those that doubt it know it was me.
Imus discussed this same this on his program.
Love Maureen Dowd. Maybe it’s only cause she hates the Clintonistas as much as I do?
You can search The George Washington Papers online available from the Library of Congress. My ancestor Hezekiah Fairfax mentioned more then once.
http://lcweb2.loc.gov/ammem/gwhtml/gwhome.html
George Washington’s first job as a surveyor was for the then Lord Fairfax Thomas, Propietor of the Northern Neck. George Washington was a friend of George William Fairfax who was married to Elizabeth Cary. Supposedly George Washington had a thing for her…they wrote letters.
Mount Vernon was leased to George Washington until the first lady of Mount Vernon had died the above George William Fairfax’s sister, she married second a Lee. She left Mount Vernon to George Washington.
My 6th great grandfather Hezekiah Fairfax worked for George Washington at Ferry Plantation it was the Ferry that crossed the potomac and Marshall Hall in Maryland was on the other side. I descend from the Maryland Fairfax Family they came into the country before the Virginia Fairfax Family line and my line were Catholics.
Hezekiah Fairfax’s younger half brother Col John Fairfax was a secretary to George Washington’s brother and their brother in law William Garner was an aide de camp at Valley Forge and an overseer at Mount Vernon he was married to their sister Catherine Fairfax. Col John Fairfax got his military title from the War of 1812.
George Washington’s immigrant ancestor came into the colony with a brother. George Washington’s collateral family lived in Fairfax Co.,Va. The Northern Neck of Virginia is George Washington country he left a huge footprint, it would be difficult for someone to live in his vicinity during his time period and not be of some mention in his papers. There was a family that descends from Parson Weems the author who wrote all those tall tales of George Washington, you know like he cut down the cherry tree and couldn’t lie, he skipped a dollar across the delaware? anyway those Weems were involved with my family lines in early Prince William.
I don’t know if this new George Washington book, would tell me something I don’t know

George Washington and the two Fairfax Familys he worked for the Virginia Fairfax family Lord Thomas Fairfax as a surveyor the proprietor of the Northern Neck of Virginia, and my line worked for him the Maryland Fairfax Family.
This is about the mix of the Virginia Fairfax family, the first lady of Mount Vernon was a woman of color. Some people say the Cary side of the family tried to white wash this branch of the Fairfax family.

The Carey {not Cary} Clan are mine. Once upon a time Bill Carey was Yeoman of the Guard {original Beefeater} to Henry the 8th & was married to family Anne Boleyn’s sister Mary. I still have a Mary Carey in my family. {No – not the porn Mary} lol
Stdomsgirl, they made a movie about the other Boleyn Girl I think it is playing now. I know I have seen the book on the shelves when I am shopping at the bookstores.
The Virginia Carys intermarried with the Virginia Fairfax family alot. Anne (Fairfax) Washington, Lee’s mother Sarah Walker was referred to as Creole. I can’t remember exactly but it should be in that famous frontline article on the Fairfaxs and George Washington, blue link inside the article….I think Sarah (Walker) Fairfax’s father was a Governor of the Bahamas? The old rumor was that George Washington carried a flame for his friend George William Fairfax’s wife. I know there was letter writing going on it is mentioned in “Washington, The Indispensable Man, by James Thomas Flexner.
The oral history from Col John Fairfax’s descendents, was that it was George Washington that suggested he settle in what became present day Preston Co.,West Virginia. George Washington had so much influence, he wasn’t always confident in his abilities, he wasn’t sure he was up to the tasks he had taken up. His doubts in himself didn’t stop him though.
laree, you need to get a copy of HBO’s John Adams which has just been released on DVD. It’s really excellent. The guy who plays Washington, can’t remember his name, is great.
skiwolf,
I keep hearing about that HBO show John Adams. I have not heard a bad review of the show I will look around here and see if I can find it.
Chris Wallace was great this morning he was saying something to Imus about Imus ranting about his tech problems when his audience could hear. Chris Wallace we wait for those moments
Kinder Gentler Imus ah NO THANK YOU. I guess he lost it in a commercial break this morning, you know they need to record those for moments for us. I think it was Tony or Charles said if you put it up on Youtube you would get millions of hits. Imus said, I could make Bill O;Reilly look like he was giving a sermon
YES make the engineers at 77WABC cringe LOL.
Imus in the Morning “Sold Out”.
Imus just announced that even with the poor state of radio the Imus in the Morning show is “sold out”.
Good stuff!
skiwolf,
Bernard just asked Deirdre if she was still happy about marrying old pimple dick LOL. Wouldn’t she rather be working for the Emporers Club. They are so much more comfortable when Imus is broadcasting from the ranch why is that?
I added Sid to the I Man myspace page just got a message from Sid…I replied, we miss you Sid.
Skiwolf,
I found Sid’s myspace page and added the page to I Man myspace page.
http://www.myspace.com/getoffmyphone
laree,
I agree he is better at the ranch. I brought that up a few days ago. My belief is that it’s because at heart his just and old radio guy and is most comfortable by himself with a mic. All the shows from the ranch have been better I think anyhow.
I also liked Sid. Wonder how the Iman feels about having fired him now?
My niece Erica’s latest blog from her myspace page she is on I Man’s top friends too I am sharing this because it is funny, she is living down in Los Angeles right now, she is an actress. When I read the headline “T Shirt Contest” I was intrigued, I think Montanans, think differently from other folks

T-shirt Contest
Current mood: amused
Category: Fashion, Style, Shopping
Last week, as I was entering the elevator of my building, I passed another rider on his way out. He was, presumably, with his girlfriend and carrying groceries back to their apartment. Nothing but the most generic and customary greeting was exchanged between us as we passed… but the man made a statement much louder than his words. Printed on the front of his shirt, in nice bold lettering, was “I’d F*** Me.” Thank you so much for sharing.
The incident got me wondering, why do we feel the need to broadcast a statement on our shirts? And don’t kid yourself that it’s a new trend in fashion. The brazen statement across the chest bit has been in use since 17th century American literature. One can buy a shirt claiming everything from their political beliefs, hobbies and sexual conquests. I’ve seen everything from “Little Miss Sunshine” to “Tell your boyfriend to stop texting me” to “Give Peace a Chance.” Is it because there’s something that we feel is so important, so life-altering that it must be communicated even when we don’t have the chance to actually stop and have a conversation with someone? Was my elevator friend reassuring me, in case I was debating the subject, that he was indeed worth considering for my late night wishes? I mean, what did he actually expect to accomplish by displaying such a message on his person as if a name tag. “Hi, I’m John Doe. And I’m totally f***able.” A response such as “Hi, I’m Jane. Whew, now that I know, let’s hit the hay!” Did he really think it would make a girl swoon? Sorry, hon, it unfortunately made me want to run away rather than towards you.
I also had an ex who would wear a hideously yellow shirt that proudly stated, “Your girlfriend thinks I’m hot.” I often wondered if it came from a certain place of sensitivity and insecurity that motivated such a choice in apparel. Do we wear statements as affirmations? Maybe if we pull that t-shirt over our head enough times the statement will become a reality. Someday I will really be a “skinny b**ch.” Maybe if I wear my “I’m hot stuff” or “Tease” tee enough I won’t need to say it any more. People will just know. I will walk down the street and they will say, “Look, there goes someone who’s with stupid!”
All right, in all fairness… I must admit. I am a closet owner of a few statement tees myself. One being “Life is Better Blonde.” As I have, (gasp) naturally light brown hair (I think), I do notice I have more fun as a blonde. Why I feel the need to write it across my shirt, I’ll never know. But in my defense, I use it primarily as PJs or a Laundry Day shirt. I don’t wear it into the elevator for all to have an insight into my philosophy on life. I also have another one: on a picture of the Earth it states, “We’re all in this together.” I guess I did get that one because I wanted people to read it in hopes that it makes them stop and think about what a team effort saving the environment has to be.
Bottom line for me, I would rather get to know someone by their verbal conversation than their tee-statements. Since I haven’t seen a tee that says, “I am far more interesting than you can fit on one t-shirt,” I’ll refrain from buying tops that limit me to a single statement at a time. I guess I am thankful that the use of these tees let me easily distinguish someone who is willing to be reduced to one, and to let that one statement be, (under a picture of a Dachshund) “Rub my wiener for luck.”

I love my family LMAO
An extension of Ski’s philosophy – Imus at the ranch gives him a different, almost outsider, perspective. Notice he gives everyone, including Karith, more grief and seems to banter with Bernie almost as if he is more aware he is there. Methinks the rainbow studio is too cluttered with bodies.
I totally agree Skiwolf! He is better at the Ranch, and I LOVE SID!!!! I’m willing to admit that I loved his humor and miss him as part of the team. If only the Iman could get rid of Karith and add Sid, Bernie, Lou, …oh yea, that would be the Old show, just the way I liked it:)
Would love to have Sid replace Karith. Tony rocks and is a keeper.
I always felt Imus was very hypocritical to dump Sid over the breast cancer comment. Imus has said much worse over the years about oh for example, making fun of guys with prostate cancer. I think Dierdre got Sid canned.
BTW, my wife is a breast cancer survivor and I am a prostate cancer surviovor so I can say any damn thing I want about either of them.
Likewise I think it was Dierdre who got Karith her gig and protects her.
Making IITM more “View” like, including the ever present panel has had a deleterious effect on the program.
Answer? Change the set! Go back to the MSNBC 2-Pod configuration with Chuck and rotating cast.
Hey Skiwolf, did Imus ACTUALLY say the show has “sold out”??? (Comment #28) Dang, maybe he DOES read our stuff!!!!!
Hey Harley,
Yeah he said it about 8:40am. He was speaking of being “sold out” in terms of advertising slots available not as in anything else. Good indication the show is doing very well in comparison to radio in general.
The other indication is the program is increasing the number of broadcast station. And while the adders are small market stations that’s what gets you to the large numbers, ie 300 stations.
Yeah X I heard that too. I wasn’t listening closely, but it seemed like there were a few of them anyhow. Always good news.
LOL
Great BruceTube, Karith is just setting herself up with the Iman. You get the idea that she is out there doing her own thing “Its summer time and I just want to lighten things up”.
Imus critiques are meant to bring her back on the reservation. She seems pretty clueless, oh well.
Channel is correct. And sorry if people were fooled by the headline. But thought they were funny.
Something I have realized and Ree can help me out with this one. As a commenter on the other site it seems you cannot even make a civil opinion without being jumped by the fanatics over there.
The more I play nice the more they become the radical “I hate Karith and Tony” Cartel. I even agreed on Karith.
Oh Well. No hope for that site.
HERE WE GO AGAIN…
Hey the McCain Girls are back! Now they are the McCain-iacs, themed to “Flashdance”. More summer fun…..

Where are we going Goiman? If you have something to say, now is the time to say it.
I said nothing wrong. When I write something it’s my opinion.
Your results may vary depending on your state of mind.

Good one Goiman.
Does anyone know when the Imus ranch cd will be released?
The oft delayed IRCD. Hes now saying September…
I swear I heard Lou or Bernie this morning make a quick wisecrack about this-here site… some big number of “hits on Imus Times.” Did anyone else think they heard that? I think it was during Deirdre…mighta gotten lost in the raucous laughter after the “pimple” joke…
Thank you Channel.
I’m not sure, but didn’t they also mention something about the “bloggers”?
There was a crack about YouTube. I have edited Deirdre’s out so will have to review it.
The Imus Ranch record has been promoted as being delayed till September since Memorial Day. Though often people do not pay attention to that information.
Liner notes. Who really cares about them. Just a listing of the songs and the artists. Brief history on how it came about is enough. Wouldn’t take a Rocket Scientist to write them either.
Channel, PTB or Ree could write them as well as Tracy Gershon. Or whoever they were talking about.
Will have that segment up later for all if you are interested.
Bruce,
I think the liner notes have to be personal info like why did Imus pick this artist for this song to cover ect. A History with the artist – when Imus first heard them? Little Richard is an Icon. I really like Little Richard. Lucinda Williams has not put out anything I can’t listen to and her style is distinctive.
Bruce,
I found a definition on wikipedia, I can see why they want Imus to write the liner notes it would be a testimony to the artist, to have a Radio Icon like Imus writing the notes. “often a sympathetic music journalist”
For a bibliographic format for citing liner notes see Wikipedia:Citing sources/example style
Liner notes (also sleeve notes or album notes) are the writings found in booklets which come inserted into the compact disc jewel case or the equivalent packaging for vinyl records and cassettes. They are descended from the notes of text that were printed on the rear side of the cardboard record jacket used to protect a traditional 12-inch vinyl record, i.e., long playing or gramophone record album. The term descends from the name “record liner” or “album liner”. On vinyl recordings, the most common placement of these notes would be the paper sleeve inside of an album jacket that served to protect the record from dust (dust sleeve or dust liner, etc.). As the rear covering of an album jacket was applied in early days in a fashion that resembled the tailored lining of garments (overlapping and protecting the edges of the front cover), it’s also likely that “liner” could have been a printer’s terminology for this back cover area as well.
Such notes often contained a mix of factual and anecdotal material, and occasionally a discography for the artist or the issuing record label. They were also an occasion for thoughtful signed essays on the artist by another party, often a sympathetic music journalist, a custom that has largely died out. However, the liner note essay has survived in retrospective compilations, particularly in box sets.
Liner notes now usually include information about the musician, lyrics, a personnel list, and other credits to people the musicians want to thank and people or companies involved in the production of the music. They also can give details on the extent of each musical piece, and sometimes place them in historical or social context. Liner notes for classical music recordings often provide information in several languages; if the piece includes vocal parts, they will often include a libretto, possibly also translated into several languages.
Liner notes sometimes provide metadata that can help when cataloguing private or public collections of sound recordings. However, the information provided on liner notes varies considerably depending on the studio or label which produced the record.
Increasingly and due to the rise of digital downloads, a digital booklet is being introduced to compensate for the lack of a physical booklet.
[
Ree I understand that.
And Imus was asked to do it. This was when the CD was coming out in April or May. He turned it over to someone else.
But what I was repeating what was what “Bernie” said. He said “First thing that goes in the Trash”.
Personally I have all my liner notes on CD’s. So my answer was flipped at the least. Irreverent mostly. Not true to the facts of the importance of this historic record.
But I think you could write it Ree. We have heard all the songs. We have heard Imus state why he wanted this one to do this song. Would be an ordeal but truly a masterpiece if he wrote it with of course some help. His copied signature would be terrific too.
Never expect anything to be coherent from me. I think I am becoming “Imus”.
Haven’t listened to him this much since the 1980’s.
Gee, I didn’t think asking about his CD was such an abominiation!
Some of us have lives and may have missed Imus saying that its been delayed.
Thank YOU Channel for your respectful response.
Your sacasm is overwhelming Goiman.
Channel was answering YOU. Everyone else knew it was delayed. Apparently you do not listen to anything said here or on the other site.
Good Grief. Abomination? Strong words for a nothing reply.
Bruce
It would be a big deal for the artist, Imus doesn’t always see himself in the same way others see him. I mean he jokes he is the center of the universe but all those folks get a bump up when he writes the notes. He could dictate his thoughts to a really good writer like Matt Taibbi, who writes for Rolling Stone, what is he doing right now
I am pretty sure they could have a confrence and Matt could sharpen his liner writing notes skills… theres nothing like learning something tactually, that makes those notes even more special.
You could learn a lot from Channel. His posts are always nice and respectful.
I knew it was delayed, I was just asking WHEN it would possibly be released.
Thanks Ree and you are so correct. That would take no time at all. Compared to sitting down and writing or typing it.
And Goiman enough of your BS. I have learned a lot from Channel. But it isn’t attacking people like you do.
You are in the wrong group for that.
Bruce,
It would be simple because Imus is an interviewer, take each artist and approach each with a different interview question, Imus answers the questions for each artist so they are unique answers to each performance. I would get Matt Taibbi involved because then it adds some you know RollingStone flavor to the project. The Artists will get a bump for contributing to the CD. I think having Imus write the liner notes with Matt Taibbi’s collaboration, would put a nice cherry on top
I would make the first page look like a mattress tag, do not remove under penalty of the law LOL so they don’t get tossed like Bernie suggested they would.
Sid sent me a message on Myspace and told me I could post his message from yesterday. I do think he misses everyone too. You can find him in the friend section I Man myspace page, he said, he is happy people are back to work and that we all got our morning fix back
i once knew a guy named i-man…..i once woke up very early morning after morning for a guy named i-man….i once took one for the team many times for a guy named i-man…i once nearly got divorced, lost my job and relocated for a guy named i-man….i once spent many a morning on my miami radio show defending a guy named i-man….i once cared
At around the 2:40 mark you will hear a siren. After that you will hear the remarks regarding YouTube Vid’s. At approximately 6 minutes in the entire Deirdre commentary is heard. Running time 25:15 Broadcast on June 12, 2008
BrucesYahooTubes
In my opinion the Deirdre segment is very funny.
Couple songs and great back and forth commentary
LOL Imus says Charles is a Hillbilly Metrosexual. Brings up quite an image.
Hillbilly: can be a pejorative term referring to people who dwell in remote, rural, mountainous areas usually of the United States. Because of its strongly stereotypical connotations, the term is frequently considered derogatory and is highly offensive to those of Appalachian heritage.
Metrosexual: is a neologism generally applied to heterosexual men with a strong concern for their appearance. For example, they may have eyebrows waxed, fingers manicured, facials etc. procedures which are generally eschewed by the average male. The metro- (mother[1]) prefix indicates this man’s purely urban lifestyle, while the -sexual suffix comes from “heterosexual,” meaning that this man, although he is usually straight, embodies a heightened aesthetic sense often stereotypically attributed to gay men.

Tim Russert is gone this is a shock. My prayers for his family this must be very difficult for them. It doesn’t seem real.
This is Awful
There’s a lesson, life is to short to carry a grudge. I am so glad that Imus came to peace with Tim.

Isn’t that the truth. This really is a shock so sudden.
God Bless Tim Russert & his family.
Was kind of strange. My wife and I were watching the US Open and they go to the “breaking news” thing. As soon as I saw Brokaw I thought oh wow this must be big. Very strange.
Here is Tom Brokaw’s Special report. Not mine but for you to remember.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwNcuikop8A
“Monday will be a special day on Imus this is a certainty”
Don’t ever think you are safe in this world. One day you are here. The next day God takes you to a place where you deserve to be”.
I can only say. God Bless him and his family. And his ailing Father will be devastated.
Nothing at this time seems important to me. And I second Channel’s statement. It’s good that Imus made peace with this man before this unbelievable and shocking news.
