According to the I-Man the diagnosis is Stage II Prostate Cancer. Not the result of common causes such as diet, since Imus has been on a cancer preventing health diet for over 10 years. According to Imus it could have been caused by stress brought on by Les Moonves or Phil Griffin or that “fat pig Al Sharpton”.

During today’s program Dick Gregory mentioned how terrible Government Cheese is. Wondering what Govt Cheese tastes like? Imagine an artificial substitute for Velveeta Cheese, that’s Govt Cheese. Of course preparing a grill cheese sandwich increases the edibility of the product, as long as you have a little Govt Oleo and bread. No bread no problem, just spread some mustard on a slice of that cheese product and enjoy!

Back when my little bros and I would dine on Govt Cheese there was no Internet so we did not have access to all the wonderful ideas for preparing G-Cheese. Amazingly Kraft alone has 136 recipes in their Velveeta Featured Recipes!!!

Mr. Gregory, while fasting maybe you could pen a letter to the President Obama and ask him to revise the mark to market rule, crack down on credit swaps as well as other forms of derivatives, end naked shorts and stop Fannie and Freddie from handing out mortgages to people who can’t afford them. Imus To Put New Program Director To The Test!

Imus and Bernie met with Laurie Cantillo, the new boss yesterday. She informed Imus that he can take more chances because he now has station management which will back him up! Imus’ response? Basically told her the only two people at the company he distrusted more then her were her bosses!

That’s what Imus said but is it my imagination or did Bernie play a bigger role in the program today. RFD had a shot of Bernie doing his producer thing, kissing the I-butt. He had a great big smile on that irish mug, like we haven’t seen since before the troubles.

Imus said he is going to see if Laurie meant what she said, declaring the Cardinal returns tomorrow!

I-Fav Neil Cavuto had the last interview with Imus. Unfortunately, Cavuto’s people insisted on using a photo which Imus claims makes him look like an old lesbian, result ”no more interviews” policy. To no one’s surprise, Imus reverses the policy and grants Sean Hannity an interview. Here Sean meets Imus at the IMUS RFD set where one assumes I-Producer Big Foot has production control.

Imus cheap shots continuuue . This from some New York Daily News sports columnist who hasn’t caught on to the fact the FAN is in a pickle having lost Imus and Russo. By the way the narrow demographic Filip marginalizes here happens to be the one that buys books, autos and just about anything Imus is selling and breaking all time sales records at WABC. Would the FAN like to see a little bit of that green? You Betcha..

As for Boomer being “the most pleasant listens on talk radio” myself I can’t even listen to him on the CBS NFL program much less on the radio, You Know…

Rutgers Basketball Players missing Imus? at least people are still talking about the players and don’t forget Vivian Stringer had some strong book sales in 2008!

Somewhere, on some radio station that has nothing to do with sports, Don Imus and his leering crew are surely droning on about stuff. His ratings are good enough among a very narrow demographic, though nothing to brag about.

And in the world of sports, where he is no longer part of the dialogue, he is not missed at all. The absence of racist wisecracks is always a good thing. In some ways, this could not have worked out better. Imus is still doing his thing, and his fans can find him if they wish. He can raise funds for his charity work. Meanwhile, WFAN is a better station without him. Boomer Esiason is one of the most pleasant listens on talk radio.
